Gale Rudolph, PhD, CNS, has been a food and nutrition consultant for thirty years. She’s worked with some of the biggest names in the nutrition industry, including Jack LaLanne, Hot Pockets, Lean Pockets, and more. She’s developed juicing guides, cookbooks, nutrition bars, and a patented pina colada creamer system. Gale is also an associate professor at the University of Utah, teaching dietitians and sports nutritionists about food science.

Vanilla Tasty Shake dry mix 1 scoop

½ Avocado

1 frozen banana

1 cup pineapple chunks

1 heaping cup spinach or kale (good use of two big tough outer kale leaves)

Ice ½ cup

Water 1 cup

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Sprinkle with chili powder, if desired.

2 very ripe peaches about 1 ½ cups

1 ½ cups frozen raspberries

4 dates (pitted)

2 Tbsp flaxseeds

Ice 1 ½ cups
